Boxing, Tyson Fury ‘books’ 250 million pound match
The match could be staged in 2025, in London
After losing (again) to Usyk, Fury è returned to Britain to enjoy Christmas. Decidedly angry at the outcome of the match (heavy accusations against the judges), the 36-year-old British boxer made it known that retirement from the scene is not è a viable option.
Indeed, as reported by The Sun, Fury would already be planning another match that, should it go ahead, would be the most important, rich and prestigious in British boxing history. Fury, in fact, would be planning to challenge Britain's other star Joshua.
"It is not è over", said Fury after losing, in Saudi Arabia, to Usyk. Words that, in fact, confirm how, in Fury’s plans, there is a new big match. Should he face Joshua, there is talk of a monster purse, amounting to as much as 250 million pounds. An impressive figure that, however, would be in line with the marketing value of the match.
Already decided on the eventual location of the feud, namely London. Specifically, the Fury-Joshua match would be staged at Wembley Stadium. The ideal venue for a match that would make British boxing history. Now there's only to see if and how much the bout will be made official. If all goes as everyone hopes, it will be scheduled in 2025. Anticipation è already skyrocketing.
