Neven Spahija does not look for alibis against Trent
After facing Cluj-Napoca, Milan and Hapoel Jerusalem, Reyer Venezia è is ready for its fourth consecutive home game at Palasport Taliercio. The game will be held on Sunday, Jan. 26, at 4:45 p.m., when the Orogranata will face Dolomiti Energia Trentino in the big-match of the second day of return of the Lega Basket Serie A.
Trento arrives at Taliercio at the top of the standings, with a record of 12 wins and 4 losses, sharing the first position with Trapani, Brescia and Virtus Bologna. On the other side, Umana Reyer Venezia, currently ninth with 8 wins and 8 losses, is aiming for a victory that could relaunch it in the playoff race.
Coach Neven Spahija presented the challenge with the bianconeri in a press conference: "We face a very strong team, one of the best in the league. Moreover, they come from the victory in Badalona where it è never easy to score. They are a complete team that plays at an impressive speed and has great individual talent in offense and defense".
" We use these days leading up to the game to make sure we are ready, fatigue must not be an alibi. We still play in front of our fans and we want to continue our path.
