Madrid Masters 1000, Matteo Arnaldi surrenders to Jack Draper

The beautiful adventure of Matteo Arnaldi in the Madrid Masters 1000 ended in the quarterfinals. The world number 44 was decisively beaten with a score of 6-0 6-4 by the Beirannic number 6 ranking Jack Draper.

The first set had little history: Arnaldi collected 10 points against 24 and did not even have ua ball to win a game.

In the second set Arnaldi, after finally winning the first game, saves another beak ball at 1-1 but at 2-2 has to concede again.

Matteo was saved from double break at 2-5 but not from the sconftt, which came after u hour and 15 minutes of play.
