Dead coach Enzo Ferrari, led the Udinese of Zico and Causio

Enzo Ferrari, former soccer player and coach, known for leading Udinese during the Zico era in Italy,

died this morning at the age of 82.

As a footballer he had a good career as a striker, playing with Palermo, Genoa and Udinese. Famous remains his goal from 77 meters against Roma in 1969 when he played with the Rosanero in Serie A.

As a coach, in the 1980-1981 season he took over on the Udinese bench from Gustavo Giagnoni when the championship was in progress. In his career as coach of the Friulians, three seasons long until 1984.

The main period was when he coached footballers of the caliber of Franco Causio, Edinho and, above all, in the 1983-1984 season, Zico. Condolences were expressed by the Friulian club, which remembered him just before the’start of the match with Monza.
