Paola Egonu stays in Milan: official renewal for 2025-26 season

Paola Egonu, volleyball player of Vero Volley Milano, one of the most talented and iconic athletes on the volleyball scene, will wear the jersey of Numia Vero Volley Milano for at least one more season, even in the 2025-2026 season. This was confirmed by the Milanese club itself in an official statement that swept away the latest market rumors, which wanted the opposite player away from the Lombard capital.

This will be Egonu’s third consecutive year at Milano Vero Volleyball, a fundamental confirmation for the Milanese team, which is aiming firmly at the conquest of the first major trophy in its history. After an intense and challenging season, the Italian star player has chosen to continue her Milanese path, rejecting the flattery of top international clubs such as VakifBank, which had made a concrete move in recent months.

“I can’t wait to start this new season together with my teammates and the club,” Egonu said. “This year has been really intense and has taught us so much in all aspects. I am sure that with the right determination and perseverance both in training and in matches we can achieve great goals together.”
