MotoGP, Silverstone: Marc Marquez dominates in first free practice

Marc Marquez dominates the first free practice session of the British Grand Prix. On the Silverstone track, the Ducati centaur set the best time, turning in 1’58″702.

Shortly behind the world leader was Franco Morbidelli, three tenths away, riding the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team Ducati, who was ahead of the Ducati Gresini of Alex Marquez, who finished in third place, four tenths behind his brother.

To complete the top 5 the Aprilia of Marco Bezzecchi and the Yamaha Pramac of Jack Miller. Pecco Bagnaia closes only in eighth place, behind the KTM of Maverick Viñales, sixth, and the Yamaha of Fabio Quartararo, seventh.

The team is also in the top five.
