Race-4 of the Western Conference Finals was played overnight between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Wolves failed to deliver an encore performance after the illusory Game-3 and were defeated in a sprint by the No. 1 seed, now one step away from the Finals.

Decisive for the 128-126 victory was Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’Mvp of the season with 40 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. Also good was Jalen Williams, scorer of 34 points and an excellent 6 of 9 from three-point range.

Unnecessary on the other side Nickeil Alexander-Walker (23 points) and Donte DiVincenzo (21 points). Race-5 is scheduled for Wednesday in Oklahoma City, with first match point for the hosts.
