It did not go unnoticed on Monday night that Gianluigi Donnarumma was in the stands on the center court of Roland Garros during the first round match won by Jannik Sinner.
The Psg goalkeeper followed the whole match cheering for his compatriot friend and then went down to the locker room where the two champions hugged and exchanged a few jokes.
The world number one also gave Gigio an autographed shirt with a special dedication: “Strong to COD” (which should be Call of Duty, a well-known video game).
Jannik Sinner also talked about it in the press conference, “We have been good friends for quite a while now, so we know each other well, it was an honor for me to see him in the stands. He also has a nice big game in a few days”.
