Jasmine Paolini is in the third round of Roland Garros. The Tuscan tennis player, number 4 in the WTA ranking and seeding, beats Australian Ajla Tomljanovic, world number 71, with a final score of 6-3 6-3 after an hour and twenty-one minutes of play.

The balance in the match lasts very little: in the fourth game Paolini breaks serve from Tomljanovic (3-1) at the first useful opportunity and keeps the break advantage until the final 6-3 with which she makes the first partial her own.

In the second set the Italian started off very strong and flew to a 3-0 double break lead in no time. The Australian tries to get back into the partial (2-3) but Paolini does not get distracted on serve and indeed scratches a new break in the ninth game that earns her the victory.

The Italian player is not distracted.

Thanks to this victory Paolini qualifies for the sixteenth finals of the Paris Slam in which she will face the winner of the challenge between Russia&#8217s Anastasia Potapova, world number 37, and Ukraine&#8217s Yuliia Starodubtseva, WTA ranking number 87.
