Thursday, June 5, at 9 p.m. at the MHP Arena in Stuttgart, the second Nations League semifinal between Spain and France will be staged. After the outcome of the match between Germany and Portugal, which saw Cristiano Ronaldo’s team triumph 2-1, it is time to find out who will face Martinez’s team in the final. Spain in the Nations League quarterfinals got the better of the Netherlands, beating them on penalties 5-4.

France, on the other hand, had lost in the quarterfinal first leg to Luka Modrić’s Croatia 2-0. In the return leg of the quarterfinals, however, Deschamps’ team got the better of the Croatian team by beating them only on penalties five to four.

France’s team had lost in the first leg of the quarterfinals to Croatia 5-4.

De La Fuente for the challenge against France is expected to rely on a classic 4-3-3. Oyarzabal will act as ‘false nueve’ between Yamal and Nico Williams, positioned on the outside lanes. Fabian Ruiz left halfback, chance for Mingueza in the right-back role.

France, on the other hand, should opt for a 4-2-3-1. Room for Olise, Mbappé and Dembélé in Deschamps’attacking trio. Chance for Roma player Koné in the midfield area, Theo Hernandez starting on the left.
