Lautaro Martinez breaks silence and apologizes to Inter fans's fans

Lautaro Martinez is back to talk after the defeat in the Champions League final and Simone Inzaghi&#8217s farewell: “Hello dear Inter players, I am writing this message to you after a few days because the sadness, disappointment, bitterness after Saturday&#8217s game have been and will still be for a while’ feelings that are hard to digest”.

“I apologize to all of you for not being able to give you what was the dream of all of us. I want to thank all the neroazzurri who were in Munich, in San Siro and around the world. You are always unique”.

“In soccer, trophies won count, it is undeniable! But I also believe that bringing back with so many sacrifices our team to the Champions League final twice in the last three years means so much. We have struggled to reproduce these emotions, to win titles and experience unforgettable nights like that April 22”.

“From the first day I arrived in Milan, I and all my teammates have worked so that Inter would find its place in history again, so that it would return to where it deserves to be. There are days when being an Interist is easy, others when it is a duty, and days when being an Interist is an honor—today for all of us it is a duty to be one. Today more than ever I am proud to wear this jersey and to be the captain of this team, this group”, he concluded before the classic “Forza Inter sempre” followed by the Nerazzurri hearts.
