World Cup Qualification 2026: Uruguay-Venezuela, the likely lineups

Wednesday, June 11, at 1 p.m. Italian time, the match between Uruguay and Venezuela is staged, valid for the 16th round of the World Cup Qualifiers. The two formations, fifth and seventh in the standings respectively, will compete for vital points in a match where direct access to the 2026 World Cup is at stake.

Bielsa is expected to rely on a classic 4-3-3. In goal will be Mele. The midfield trio will consist of: Arrascaeta, Ugarte and Nandez.

Fernando Batista, on the other hand, will rely on a 4-4-2. The two forwards will be Rondon and Martinez. On the flanks will act Savarino and Bello.
