Parma, it is now official: Carlos Cuesta new coach

From an official note, Parma has announced the name of its new coach: Carlos Cuesta. The young Spanish coach has signed a two-year contract until June 30, 2027, with an option to extend for the following season.

Born in Palma de Mallorca on July 29, 1995, the’former deputy of Mikel Arteta at Arsenal takes the place of Cristian Chivu, who in turn replaced Simone Inzaghi on the Inter bench.

Cuesta will be the second youngest coach in Serie A history. A bold move desired by president Kyle Krause and manager Federico Cherubini, who knows Cuesta from his days at Juventus Under-17, where the two crossed paths between 2018 and 2020.

The presentation of the new coach of the Ducals is set for Thursday, June 26, at 3 p.m., in the press room ‘Gianfranco Bellè’ of the Ennio Tardini stadium in Parma.
