Ducati, Marc Marquez gives advice to Pecco Bagnaia
After yet another victory at Mugello, Marc Marquez is ready to return to the track at Assen, where the Grand Prix d’Holland is being held this weekend. “Logically I leave with the intention to fight for the big target – he told the microphones of Dazn Spain -, but this is one of those tracks more favorable to Pecco and Alex”.
“And I keep insisting that Pecco is very close and is among the rivals to beat – added the Ducati centaur -This does not mean I will not attack, but I will have the mentality that I am aware that it is a circuit where I will have to defend myself. At Mugello I had the same approach and then I won”.
He then sent some advice to his teammate Bagnaia: “He has to follow his instincts and his feelings, which is the hardest thing. I think he doesn’t lack the will to fight, as he showed in the first few laps at Mugello”.
“If I could come in with the same points cushion as today, I would sign right away!” Marquez commented on the lead to defend in the rider standings before the summer break.
