Jannik Sinner stresses improvement after victory

Thanks to a three-set victory over Ben Shelton, Jannik Sinner reached the semifinals at Wimbledon. “The feeling today is certainly different than two days ago – stressed the Blue after the success -, this time I am happy with today&#8217s performance. It was not easy to have a chance in the last game but I did it”.

“Shelton and I are facing each other many times, we are getting to know each other better and better, it is great to play these matches, an honor to do it here, it is a great emotion” added the world number one who beat the American for the sixth consecutive time.

“I remember the first match on the Central, and also the first semifinal against Djokovic. Wimbledon is the most special date on the calendar, I hope the next one will be a good match, we will see with whom”.

“The elbow? It has improved so much from yesterday to today, I had a very short practice with the coach yesterday but I don&#8217t want excuses. When you are in the match you try not to think about it and today I was able to play my tennis” concluded Sinner.
