Hopman Cup: Italy in final thanks to Cobolli and Bronzetti, knocked out France

Italy qualifies for the Hopman Cup final for the first time in its history. After Lucia Bronzetti’s victory over Chloe Paquet, came the decisive 2-0 win against France by Flavio Cobolli, who beat Richard Gasquet.
The Blue won in two sets 6-2, 6-4: thanks to this success, the mixed doubles match is not necessary.
Cobolli dominated the first set by putting pressure on Gasquet in response, in the second partial there was more balance and the world number 19 tennis player had to cancel a break ball.
In the 10th game came the break for the victory: Italy will face infinal one among Canada, Greece and Spain.
