Ducati, Gigi Dall'Igna parties with Marc Marquez and speaks out on Pecco Bagnaia

Five Sprint-Gp pairings in the last five race weekends, an even firmer first place in the overall standings and a renewed awareness ahead of the second half of the season: Marc Marquez and Ducati are approaching the summer break with a big smile on their faces, as evidenced by the words of Gigi Dall’Igna.
“The numbers speak for him – the general manager of Ducati Corse remarked, speaking to the microphones of ‘Sky Sport‘, on the sidelines of the number 93’s success in Brno, in the Czech Republic Grand Prix of the MotoGp class -, it is a great achievement to win both the Sprint and the Sunday race five times in a row”.
Dall’Igna, however, also wanted to congratulate Pecco Bagnaia, who finished at the foot of the podium behind, in addition to Marc Marquez, Marco Bezzecchi and Pedro Acosta: “Pecco really did a great race – said the Borgo Panigale-based Redhead executive -. I hoped until the last that he could get on the podium, with the utmost respect for Acosta. Bagnaia, after Saturday’s problem, deserved extra satisfaction”.
However, the satisfaction of having rediscovered a pole-position Bagnaia remains: “In my opinion, the one in Brno was the best weekend of the season for Bagnaia– explained Dall’Igna. In addition to the pole he ran very well on Saturday in the Sprint, and even in the race he was more unlucky than anything else. A misfortune, by the way, for which we feel a bit’responsible”.
