Rafael Leao sends a message to Milan and its fans

Directly from Singapore, where A.C. Milan is preparing for the’friendly with Arsenal scheduled for Wednesday, July 23, Rafael Leao sent a clear message to Rossoneri fans ahead of the season that is about to begin, after a’year that has brought very little satisfaction, with the Diavolo missing out on qualification for the European cups.

“Playing with the Milan jersey, for me, has always been a dream – explained Leao to the microphones of ‘Sky Sport’ -, since I arrived I have been asked to win and I want to do it every year. We want to start the season at its best, our goal is to return to the Champions League. Scudetto? We have to think match by match, it is normal that we want to win them all”.

Turning then directly to Milan supporters, Leao added: “We want to give a lot of satisfaction to those who watch us by cheering for us. We want to win a trophy”. The Rossoneri, this year, will participate not only in the league and the Italian Cup, but also again in the Super Cup, as finalists of the 2024-2025 National Cup.

Rafael Leao, class of 1999, is about to begin his seventh season at AC Milan: having arrived at the rossoneri in the summer of 2019 from Lille (which had in turn taken him from Sporting Lisbon a year earlier), the Portuguese won the 2021-2022 championship as a star player, also winning the MVP of the season award, and lifted the Super Cup in January, winning it in the final with Inter Milan in Saudi Arabia.
