Andrea Pirlo has found a new team: he goes to'abroad

Andrea Pirlo is ready for a new professional adventure. Concluded, bitterly, the’adventure at the helm of Sampdoria, the 1979-born coach has been put under contract by United FC, a Dubai club.

“A true legend at the helm. We are proud to announce Andrea Pirlo as the new coach of United FC. With his vision, passion and winning mentality, a new chapter begins. Welcome to Dubai, coach Pirlo!”, the official statement from the UAE club to announce the’agreement with the former star player of, among others, AC Milan and Juventus.

This is not the first time Andrea Pirlo has decided to try coaching abroad. In 2022 he coached in Turkey, specifically on the bench of Fatih Karagumruk. A not very positive experience (termination of his contract with only three days left in the season).

Now he is trying again in the UAE, at the helm of United FC, a club playing in UAE Division 1, the second division of the UAE’s top league. It remains to be seen whether the Italian coach will shop in Italy so as to strengthen the team he is about to coach. After winning, on his debut as a coach, the Coppa Italia and the Italian Super Cup with Juventus (2020/21 season), the 2006 World Champion is looking for the right opportunity to relaunch himself. He has decided to marry the project of United FC, in Dubai.
