The start of the Serie A and Serie B championships is just around the corner, and Italian teams continue to play numerous friendly matches in preparation. On Wednesday, it was also the turn of Pippo Inzaghi’s Palermo, engaged in the last test of the Chatillon retreat, which ended with a 3-2 victory against Annecy, a French Ligue 2 team.

The Rosanero took the lead after just four minutes.

The Rosanero took the lead after just four minutes: on the development of a corner kick taken by Augello, Pohjanpalo controlled and placed the ball in the net for 1-0. In the 22nd minute came the doubling, again from a corner and with a virtually identical action: this time it was Segre who struck a header.

In the second half, in the 56th minute, Annecy shortened the gap thanks to a controversial penalty, converted by Raache that displaced Gomis. Soon after, Inzaghi started the rotations: out went Ceccaroni and Augello, in came Bani and Lund.

In the 76th minute, the French found the equalizer with Neelakandan, who left-footed a cross to the second post beating Gomis. But three minutes from the end, Le Douaron gave Palermo success: perfect control on a Blin throw and a winning finish in the box for the final 3-2.
