Davide Casarin, emotional farewell to Reyer Venezia: the 22-year-old changes roster but stays in A

After 196 games at the first-team level with Reyer Venezia, Davide Casarin has made official his farewell to the club with which he had taken his first steps as a basketball player, completed the youth ranks and made his senior debut. For the 22-year-old (who had already been away from Reyer but on loan, in Treviso and Verona) a new adventure will start in Cremona, again in Serie A, as reported by ‘Pianeta Basket‘.
“Today is the moment when emotions and feelings overlap at an unimaginable speed – admitted Casarin, saying goodbye to his now former club -The emotions I live today are very strong, the ones I experienced with this jersey will always be inside me. I want to thank the club with which I have grown not only sportingly, but also as a person”.
“It is an important moment for me, a moment that marks a period of my life– he added – It was really something special to be able to wear the orogranata colors, colors that I have worn since I was a child, and to have been able to start from the minibasket up to the Reyer first team was like realizing a dream that I wish to all the kids in our youth sector”.
“Finally, the’last thank you goes to every single person in the club and all those who supported me and stood by me even in the most difficult times. Ciao Reyer” concluded the class of 2003 guard, who will go to reinforce, in the season that is about to begin, the backcourt of coach Gigi Brotto’s Vanoli Cremona.
