Padua, newly promoted to Serie B, is looking for a new striker to complete the offensive department ahead of next season. The goal is to provide coach Matteo Andreoletti with a quality center forward capable of raising the level of the team. As reported by Corriere del Veneto, the Biancoscudata management is considering several solutions, both on the Italian and foreign markets.

The Mario Balotelli hypothesis, at the moment, remains more of a suggestion than a concrete track, although the bomber has a great desire to get back into the game after the disappointing experience at Genoa. Instead, the option leading to Giuseppe De Luca of Cremonese, an experienced profile for the category and a protagonist of Giovanni Stroppa’s grigiorossi’s promotion to the A division.

Andrea Petagna, whose relationship with Monza has never been idyllic, has also been proposed: the former AC Milan player’s name remains in the background, as does that of Massimo Coda, outgoing from Sampdoria but with a hefty fee that complicates the operation.
