When Jasmine Paolini plays in Cincinnati: background with Ashlyn Krueger

After her winning debut with Maria Sakkari, Jasmine Paolini is ready to return to the court in her match valid for the third round of the WTA 1000 in Cincinnati. The Tuscan, number seven in the seeding and nine in the ranking, will take on Ashlyn Krueger, number 26 in the seeding and 35 in the ranking.
The match between the Blue and the American is scheduled for Tuesday, August 12, on the ‘Grandstand’ of the ‘Lindner Family Tennis Center’ in Mason. Paolini and Krueger will take the court after the match between Iva Jovic and Barbora Krejcikova, which will start at 5 p.m. Italian time (11 a.m. local time).
There is no precedent at the WTA level between Paolini and Krueger: the world number nine is off to a strong start but will have to watch out for the American, who eliminated Latvian Anastasija Sevastova in three sets in the first round.
Paolini is on the hunt for a new coach, as she confessed in the press conference after the victory with Sakkari: “Right now the goal is to find the right person, someone who will give me serenity. Someone who knows tennis well, who can give me some calm because I am the exact opposite. That is all I am asking for”.
