The U.S. Open organizers have released the final final changes to the mixed doubles draw, which in the 2025 edition will involve several big names among the singles players including Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Iga Swiatek, Naomi Osaka, and Jessica Pegula. Among the last-second changes, one directly concerns Lorenzo Musetti, who will not play as planned paired with Jasmine Paolini.

The blue number 1, in fact, has crossed her name off the board, preferring to devote herself to the preparation of the women’s tournament, which, as per the calendar changes for 2025, will not be held at the same time as the mixed doubles one but immediately after it. Musetti’s new partner will be Caty McNally, a two-time finalist in women’s doubles at the US Open.

McNally, a Cincinnati, U.S.-born Nov. 20, 2001, has won eight major circuit tournaments in doubles, paired with tennis players such as Coco Gauff, Hailey Baptiste, Anna Kalinskaya, Alycia Parks, Diane Parry and Asia Muhammad. Also in doubles she also boasts six successes at the ITF level between 2017 and 2021, while in 2018 she won junior doubles at Roland Garros with Iga Swiatek and at the US Open with Coco Gauff.

These are the mixed doubles pairings at the US Open 2025: Pegula/Draper (1) vs Raducanu/Alcaraz, Danilovic/Djokovic vs Andreeva/Medvedev, Swiatek/Ruud (3) vs Keys/Tiafoe, Osaka/Monfils vs McNally/Musetti, Siniakova/Sinner vs Bencic/A. Zverev, Townsend/Shelton vs Anisimova/Rune (4), V. Villiams/Opelka vs Muchova/Rublev, Errani/Vavassori vs Rybakina/Fritz (2). Matches will be played Aug. 19 and 20, with a $1 million prize also up for grabs.
