Denzel Valentine, Jayce Johnson, Sean McDermott, Kylor Kelley and Massimiliano Obljubech: they are the five recipients of greetings and thanks from Pallacanestro Trieste, which, before focusing on the upcoming season, wanted to honor those who contributed to the brilliant season of the Giulians, who as newly promoted qualified both to the Final Eight of the Italian Cup and to the playoffs.

“Saying goodbye to players who have given so much to our cause is always a bittersweet moment – explained Paul Matiasic, patron of Pallacanestro Trieste -. These athletes were not only outstanding professionals on the court, but also men who understood and embraced the spirit of Trieste and our people”.

“They honored the red and white jersey every single day and helped write one of the most beautiful pages of our recent history. On behalf of the whole club, I thank them from the bottom of my heart and wish them the best, because they deserve it. The doors of Trieste for them will always be open” Matiasic added.

“Denzel has given us much more than points, assists and victories– then said Michael Arcieri, general manager of the red and white team.

He has brought joy, music, laughter and a free spirit that has helped all of us breathe wonderful basketball. The same goes for Jayce, the quintessential teammate, whose million-dollar smile and incredible support for every person within the club went hand in hand with his extraordinary energy and passion on the court”.

“Sean– continued Archers– was (and is) a model of pure professionalism, whose perfect jump shot and unique approach to every offensive and defensive play mirrored his approach to every day and every interaction with every single person he encountered. Kylor joined us near the end of our run (which is never easy) and dedicated all of his efforts and talent, without reservation, for the good of the team (including his tremendous performance in the last regular season game to secure our sixth place in the standings). And Max has put his heart and soul into our team these past two seasons, working tirelessly, always with seriousness, humility and a kind smile that has been appreciated by all. His future in our league will be bright”.
