Roma, official Leon Bailey: arrives on loan with right of redemption

Now it is official: Leon Bailey is a new Roma player. The 28-year-old Jamaican striker arrives on loan with right of redemption from Aston Villa. This was announced by the Giallorossi club itself through an official statement.

“AS Roma is pleased to announce the’purchase of Leon Bailey from Aston Villa – reads the note issued by the Capitoline club in the morning – The’transaction is concluded on loan with right of redemption”.
A class of 1997, Bailey is the first Jamaican footballer in Jamaican history. Born in Kingston, he moved to Europe at the age of 13, and as a professional has worn the jerseys of Genk, Bayer Leverkusen and Aston Villa.
Of an offensive outside role, he has 377 appearances between domestic and international competitions with 76 goals scored. Bailey has chosen jersey number 31.
