World Cup 2026 qualifiers: Croatia-Montenegro, the likely lineups

Monday evening at the Maksimir Stadium in Zagreb will be staged the match between Croatia and Montenegro, a clash valid for qualification for the upcoming World Cup. Luka Modric and his teammates are currently second in the standings 3 points behind the Czech Republic and 3 points ahead of Montenegro.

Dalić is expected to field his side with a 4-2-3-1. Jakić, Pongračić, Ćaleta-Car and Stanišić will act in Livaković’s defense, while Modrić and Sučić will have the task of setting up the game. The point man will be Budimir, supported by the trident in the three-quarter consisting of Majer, Kramarić and Perišić.
