Cagliari sneaky, Parma jinxed: red and blue win 2-0

Cagliari was ruthless and effective against Parma, beaten 2-0 in a Saturday afternoon Serie A advance that was decidedly less one-sided than the result suggests. Indeed, the islanders secured the victory with a goal in each half, but there was no shortage of goal chances for the guests, who also hit two woodpeckers. It was, moreover, the first win of the season for the Rossoblù, who temporarily leave the lower reaches of the standings in which the Ducali instead remain entangled for the moment, still stuck at 1 point.

Confirmation of Parma’s desire to do well came already in the first minutes, in which Caprile had to perform a double miracle on first Pellegrino and then Cutrone. The same former Milan striker misses a shot at halftime, just when Cagliari starts to take the field and measures to the opponents. Caprile wins another chapter of the personal challenge with Cutrone, then comes the goal. In spite of what we have seen so far, however, the hosts put it on the scoreboard on 33′ Gaetano earns a corner, on the development of which Obert crosses towards Belotti, framing towards an uncertain Suzuki and winning rebound into the net by Mina, again with a header.

Parma did not let themselves be knocked down by the disadvantage, and even before halftime came close to equalizing with the usual Cutrone. At the beginning of the second half Caprile confirmed his great day by opposing Ndiaye’s header, then it was Gaetano who came close to doubling the score for Cagliari. The hosts grew, and Belotti also went close to scoring. On the other side Cutrone hits the post, then Bernabé narrowly misses. There’s also time for Oristanio’s crossbar, confirming that everything is going wrong for the Emilians.

In fact, anyone could score, but once again it is Cagliari who does it. It is 77′: Palestra puts Borrelli into action, service for Adopo with a conclusion that ends on the post, the first to reach the ball is Felici who scores the second resounding goal of the afternoon for the islanders. It was also the last of the match, however, as that of an indomitable Cutrone was not validated for a foul by Pellegrino on Luperto.
