ATP 500 Tokyo, Matteo Berrettini’s winning debut

Nice debut for Matteo Berrettini in the ATP 500 on Tokyo’s concrete. The 29-year-old Roman, currently number 56 in the world, beat Spain’s Jaume Munar, number 40, with a score of 6-4 6-2 after just over an hour and a half of play.

Munar saves a break point already in the first game of the match and two consecutive ones in the third, then it is Berrettini who saves from 0-40 in the fourth.
