Milan, Rafael Leāo returns to group training

Good news for Milan: Rafael Leāo is back training with the group. The Portuguese striker will therefore be available to Massimiliano Allegri for Sunday night’s match against Napoli.

Leāo has yet to play a single league match this season, as he injured his calf on Aug. 17 in the Coppa Italia match against Bari at the San Siro, which he won 2-0, in which, moreover, he had unblocked the score in the 14th minute.

The 26-year-old, born in Almada to a father originally from Angola and a mother from São Tomé and Príncipe, has been at AC Milan since 2019 and so far with the Rossoneri jersey has collected 261 appearances and 71 goals among all competitions.

With AC Milan he won a Scudetto in 2021-2022 and an Italian Super Cup in 2024. With the Portugal national team, he won the Nations League in 2024-2025.
