Serie B 2025-2026: Carrarese-Modena, the likely lineups
Modena’s run-up to the top of Serie B starts from the Stadio dei Marmi in Carrara, after the Canarini were ousted, at least for twenty-four’hours, by Frosinone, victorious against Cesena. It will not be easy, however, for the team coached by Andrea Sottil, who will have to beat Carrarese, eager for redemption after a September stingy with satisfaction, in order to win their fourth success in a row.
The Canarini will have to win their fourth Serie B match.
To turn the tide from the last few matches, yellow and blue coach Antonio Calabro will bet on an offensive lineup that features Finotto, Abiuso and Bozhanaj in the attacking trident, with Zanon and Cicconi on the flanks ready both to lend a hand to actions towards the opponent’s goal and to fall back to the defense if necessary.
On the other side, the Gialloblù renew their faith in Gliozzi and Sersanti, both of whom scored in the winning comeback against Pescara last Sunday, in a 3-5-2 that will see Zampano on the right and Zanimacchia on the left on the flanks. In defense, a three-man department with Tonoli, Adorni and Nieling in front of goalkeeper Chichizola.
