Pellegrini posts on Instagram a photo with Coventry from the Cio Assembly in Costa Navarino. “As an athlete. As a swimmer. Proud that the Olympic movement is led by her…Madam President”.
Kirsty Coventry, 42-year-old former Zimbabwean swimmer, won two Olympic golds in the 200 backstroke in Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008 plus 4 silvers and 1 bronze, at the Worlds she was gold in the 200 in 2005 and 2009 and in the 100 in 2005.
