Pisa unblocked itself on day 11, earning its first win of the season in Serie A and giving new momentum to the race for safety. At the Arena Garibaldi-Romeo Anconetani, Idrissa Touré&#8217s sumptuous header was enough to sign the 1-0 win over Cremonese, the first victory in the top league for the Nerazzurri even since 1991. But the emotions the match delivers are far greater than the final result suggests.

The hosts, who also come from a good period characterized, however, by a long series of draws, start the match in the best way. It was immediately Akinsanmiro and Touré himself who built two chances within seconds, then it was Nzola who committed Audero. Then Cremonese grows, but Vazquez first sees his conclusion rejected by Semper and then misses the size of his volley. Pisa, however, believes: Caracciolo and again Touré and Akinsanmiro come close to taking the lead, then an offside denies the goal to the same Angolan.

In the final half Cremonese came back to make themselves dangerous, with Vardy, Payero and then Vazquez and Faye. But a few moments before halftime it was Pisa again, with Vural who netted just over the crossbar. Same script at the start of the second half: Moreo and Nzola try for the hosts, but the aim is inaccurate in both cases. Then Vardy rattles the Garibaldi Arena twice, but Semper and Canestrelli prevent trouble.

At half time the match definitely flares up: Audero closes the door to Nzola, on the next corner Caracciolo is dangerous. A handful of seconds pass and on the other side Vazquez hits the crossbar, then Vardy and Vazquez create further headaches for the Nerazzurri defense. After Bondo&#8217s attempt from distance and Semper&#8217s decisive intervention on Baschirotto, the goal seems more and more in the air. And it is Pisa that finds it, when at 75′ Tramoni crosses for Touré, who with prodigious elevation arrives on the ball and frames it into the net. The end of the game in strong grigiorossi colors, but the result does not change anymore and Alberto Gilardino can finally rejoice and enjoy a team momentarily +3 from third-last Genoa.
