Serie A 2025-2026: Genoa-Fiorentina, the likely lineups
Genoa and Fiorentina will face each other at 3 p.m. Sunday in a very delicate match valid for the 11th day of Serie A. The two rivals in the Marassi challenge are in fact both far behind in the standings: third-last the Grifone, even last the Viola. Both led by a new coach (Daniele De Rossi and Paolo Vanoli, respectively), a win would be crucial to relaunch their respective seasons.
With Moise Kean not summoned due to injury, Vanoli will re-launch Dzeko in his Fiorentina team’s attack. The Bosnian is expected to pair with Piccoli, while Nicolussi Caviglia, Ndour and Fagioli will be in the midfield. On the right the certainty Dodò, on the left lane ready Fortini in place of the absent Gosens.
Same tactical approach also for De Rossi, who should send a two-pronged Genoa on the field: Colombo and Vitinha. Thick midfield, with Masini to partner Thorsby and Frendrup. On the flanks Norton-Cuffy on the right and Martin on the left.
