Sarri’s rant on referees: comes Lazio’s note

Lazio intervenes after the harsh words of Maurizio Sarri in the press conference after the match against Inter, in which the coach of the biancocelesti had spoken of “renting referees abroad because I no longer see any up to it, certainly not the one tonight”.

This is the note from Lotito’s club: “S.S. Lazio, in reference to the statements made by coach Maurizio Sarri at the end of the championship match, specifies that – as the coach himself later clarified – the referee’s work did not in any way influence the course of the match nor the final result”.

“The considerations expressed in the heat should be read in the context immediately following the match, after moments of understandable sporting tension”.
