Cantù, Meo Sacchetti berates his team despite success
“I save little or nothing,” Sacchetti said.
Despite the almost never in dispute success and the 66-49 final victory inflicted on NPC Rieti, Cantù basketball coach Meo Sacchetti was far from happy commenting on the match to the Brianza club’s channels.
“We wanted the two points and we take them,” said the former Italbasket technical commissioner, “for the rest I save little or nothing from this match. Our players have very good shooting qualities, we know that, so we absolutely cannot think of going on the court shooting with certain percentages. We can and must do much more, I am not satisfied at all.”
“I don’t want to be repetitive, but the smile is still missing on the face of several players, so we are not there. Good game from Nikolic and I also liked the impact of young Borsani, who moved with ease.”
