Scudetto, who will prevail according to bookmakers?

The Serie A is not even a third of the way through the season, but it has already hinted that this year&#8217s will be a very balanced championship from all points of view. Fighting for the highest positions in the standings right now are especially Roma, Inter, Milan, Napoli and Bologna, but watch out for Juventus just behind that, with Luciano Spalletti taking over from Igor Tudor on the Bianconeri bench, has all the cards in order to undermine anyone until the’last day. The disappointments for the moment are mainly Lazio, Atalanta and Fiorentina, far from the top of the table. The biancocelesti, mid-table just like the Bergamaschi, are paying for the market blockade suffered during the summer session. La Dea, on the other hand, has not achieved the desired results with Juric on the bench, which is why Raffaele Palladino, former coach of the Viola, was chosen in the Croatian’s place a few days ago. Viola who, against all odds, under Stefano Pioli’s management even found themselves in last place in the standings. For this reason, the departure of sporting director Pradè was also followed by that of the’former Milan coach, who has just been succeeded by Paolo Vanoli, who at the end of his first game in Genoa against Daniele De Rossi&#8217s Genoa picked up a point with a 2-2 draw.

Inter

Currently the favorite to win the Scudetto is considered Chivu’s Inter, who last year lost the title by fighting until the last day with Napoli. The Nerazzurri, with an average odds of less than 2.00, are therefore considered the main favorites to win the championship. The main legal betting operators in Italy, which have also conquered the online gambling market as shown in this list by Casino Italianiabout the best Italian casinos, agree in pointing out precisely Inter’s as the team to beat. In fact, the Nerazzurri did not even get off to such a strong start that they immediately attracted criticism regarding the new coach’s management. The response came very quickly, as Inter currently sits at the top of the standings with 24 points in 11 days tied with Gian Piero Gasperini’s Roma. To go very strong is the offensive phase, because the goals scored so far, despite a Lautaro Martinez not in the greatest form, have been an impressive 26. No team right now has done better in our league. To be improved there&#8217s undoubtedly the defensive phase, because 12 goals conceded in 11 days are probably too many for a team that wants to win the Scudetto. Some certainty is lacking from the one who has given a lot of certainty in recent years both in Serie A and in the Champions League: Sommer. The old guard, consisting of the likes of Bastoni, Calhanoglu, Barella and Mkhitaryan is on the rise, as are new additions such as Pio Esposito, Bonny, Akanji and Sucic.

Naples

Napoli, which holds the title of Champion of Italy, is definitely struggling more than last year. Complicated certainly by the double commitment with the Champions League that last year was not there, Antonio Conte&#8217s boys are struggling with more opaque performances and more frequent injuries. Despite all that, the partenopei have still collected 22 points in 11 games and are only two points behind the top spot. The average number of goals scored is not very high, as for the moment we are at 16 goals scored in 11 days, while defensively they are faltering more than last year. In fact, the goals conceded for the moment are already 10 despite a Milinkovic-Savic between the posts in great form. Newcomer Hojlund got off to a great start, but in recent outings the Dutch center forward is experiencing some more difficulties. Lukaku is still stuck in the pits and Lucca has not clicked. Lang is finding little space, Politano is in obvious physical decline, plus there have come two heavy muscle injuries to two key midfield players like De Bruyne and Anguissa. Rrahmani is returning from a long layoff, but the physical and mental difficulties of Conte’s boys are clear. Despite a market filled with purchases and money spent, the Azzurri’s Scudetto victory is quoted around 4.00.

Milan

Among the candidates for the final victory there&#8217s certainly also Milan, which momentarily lost the first position just after the last day played and ended with a draw suffered in a comeback at home of Parma. With Massimiliano Allegri on their bench and without the European commitment, the Rossoneri have a very good chance of having their say until the end, so much so that the odds for winning the Scudetto are barely higher than those involving Napoli. The defense concedes little and the goals conceded in fact for the moment are only 9, while up front, despite Pulisic, Leao and Saelemaekers in excellent form, they are lacking a little bit the weight of a great center forward. In fact, the goals scored in 11 games are 17, a full 9 fewer than their rivals Inter’s. Not very few, but not that many either. Gimenez continues to be unconvincing and Nkunku still hasn&#8217t been able to get going. Credit for Milan&#8217s great performances seen this early in the season is also and especially due to an extraordinary Luka Modric, who at the ripe old age of 40 in midfield continues to make a difference in both phases.

Roma

The big surprise of this league start is definitely Roma, which with Gasperini is finding the continuity of results that had already been achieved in the second half of last season with Claudio Ranieri, to date with a role in the Giallorossi management. The boys of the’former Atalanta coach at the moment find themselves at the top of the standings tied with Inter, in spite of the direct clash lost at homeby a measly 1-0 score. The goals scored are few, very few for a team that is at the top of the scoreboard: just 12. This highlights some pretty serious problems up front, with Ferguson and Dovbyk, both injured, having so far rendered very little. The Irishman is still out of goals, while the Ukrainian in the league is barely on 2. Further complicating matters are the frequent muscle problems of Bailey and Dybala. Definitely smiling is the team’s defensive phase, which is currently by far the best in Serie A with only 5 goals conceded. The defensive package and the midfield, with the usual extraordinary Svilar between the posts, is making the difference and dragging Roma toward important goals. Considering also the European commitment, however, bookmakers are offering an odds of about 10.00 regarding the Giallorossi winning the Scudetto.

Juventus

Slightly behind the others, with 19 points collected in 11 games, is Luciano Spalletti&#8217s Juventus. The coach from Certaldo has actually been on the Bianconeri bench for only 2 games, which ended with a 2-1 win over Cremonese and a blank-net home draw in the derby against Torino. Under Igor Tudor’s management, then, the Old Lady had earned only 15 points in 9 days, considered few by the Bianconeri management that evidently has other agendas both in the league and in the Champions League. Between goals scored and goals conceded there&#8217s a good balance for a team fighting for a European placement, but not for the title. The goals scored are 14, while those conceded for the moment are 10. That is why by the bookmakers the title win by Juve is quoted at 17.00. Bremer’s absence in the defensive rearguard weighs like a boulder, while in front weighs the’absence of goals from level-headed strikers such as Vlahovic, David and Openda.
