Juventus soccer market: business between the Bianconeri and eternal rival Inter’s never easy, yet a suggestion to that effect has warmed the mid-December chill. Only in time, though. The suggestion of a move to Turin by Davide Frattesi, who has always struggled to carve out a permanent starting role in the Nerazzurri, with Khéphren Thuram making the reverse journey instead, was commented on quite bluntly by Giorgio Chiellini. And the Director of Football Strategy of the Old Lady only partly exposed himself on Gennaro Gattuso’s national team midfielder, while much clearer was on the Frenchman.

“About Frattesi I do not want to talk, because I think it would be a lack of respect towards Inter’Inter– Chiellini told ‘DAZN’ -. The certainty instead is another, that Thuram is a Juventus player and will remain so. Indeed, not only do we not want him to leave. But also around him we intend to build our future”. The same interview, moreover, brought news about the future of Kenan Yildiz. “At the moment we do not have the urgency to negotiate his renewal, but we are talking about an important player and one who has a long contract. However, we know we have to adjust him to his status” added the’former Juventus defender.

In fact, Inter could decide to let Frattesi go, although, in the past, it has always said no to anyone who approached the 26-year-old Azzurri national. Roma, for example, had tried, but without achieving the set goal. Now, however, the situation may have changed, not least because Frattesi may have reached the point where he wants to play more continuously and, at Inter, that desire seems complicated to fulfill. Going to Juventus could be a good idea, also because, in Turin, he would be certain of a starting jersey and, as a result, he could return to playing with continuity.

L’Inter seems to have set the price of the Italian national team midfielder around 35/40 million euros. A high price but also consonant with the level of the player. However, there would be, at least according to Gazzetta dello Sport, another possibility on the table, namely the previously mentioned exchange between Frattesi and Thuram. But there is no shortage of problems.

In fact, Inter would like to bring Khéphren Thuram to Milan so that he could play alongside his brother Marcus. An important request, however, which as we have seen is unlikely to be accepted by Juventus, considering that the French midfielder is one of the strengths of the current squad available to Spalletti. Letting him leave is not in the Bianconeri plans, even for someone like Frattesi.
