Milan market, not just a striker: we also need a quality defender

The defeat suffered in the Italian Super Cup semifinal against Antonio Conte’s Napoli has certified, if ever there was a need, that Milan needs reinforcements and urgently too. Not only, as is now known, in attack but also in defense. Clearly, the offensive department needs a new element (also because of the many injuries that are conditioning Max Allegri’s choices) but, considering the difficulties of the defense, it is clear that a defensive central of quality would help not a little.

In addition to the injury issue (not easy to give up players like Rafa Leao and Matteo Gabbia, just to give two examples), there&#8217s also a really not excellent performance by several signings of the last Rossoneri summer market. For the forward, the negotiation with Niclas Fullkrug seems to be in the home stretch. The white smoke seems very close indeed (there are rumors of a loan with right of redemption)

At this point, all eyes are on the possible new central defender. Many Rossoneri fans dream of the return of Thiago Silva, 41. However, it is likely that Igli Tare will look for a ready-made but more futuristic player. Looking for some expiring players, perhaps in the Premier League, cannot be ruled out.
