Italian Super Cup 2025: Bologna-Inter, the probable lineups

Bologna and Inter Milan will face each other on Friday, Dec. 19 at King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh with kickoff at 8 p.m. Italian time. Up for grabs is the final of the 2025 Italian Super Cup, to which Napoli has already qualified by beating AC Milan on Thursday night. It is an interesting clash between the reigning Serie A runners-up and the holders of the Coppa Italia: the last three direct clashes have seen all three possible outcomes.

Vincenzo Italiano is expected to rely on Castro as the only forward in his Bologna side. In the three-quarter ready Odgaard in the center, with Bernardeschi and Rowe wide. At the heart of the maneuver Moro and Pobega, in defense in front of Ravaglia will act Holm and Miranda on the lanes, with Heggem and Lucumí in the center.

The Italian team is expected to be in the middle.

For Cristian Chivu, on the other hand, a recourse to the starting attack is close: forward, Inter will propose the tried-and-true Thuram-Lautaro Martinez tandem. The usual dense midfield, with Luis Henrique on the right, Dimarco on the left, Zielinski in the box and Barella and Mkhitaryan as inside players. Confirmed Sommer in goal, the defensive trio will consist of Bisseck, Akanji and Bastoni.
