The words of Antonio Conte in the post-match of Napoli-Fiorentina still make a lot of noise, a real frontal attack on those who draw up the calendars of the various tournaments also in the light of the numerous injuries that have affected the members of the Azzurri squad, the last of whom, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, will be forced to a long stop. Not everyone, however, is on the same wavelength as the Salento coach: Massimiliano Allegri, in the press conference presenting Milan’s away match in Bologna, in fact ignited the debate by providing another kind of interpretation.

“Every year I hear the same controversies about the calendar – explained the Milan coach -: we play too much, too little, too early or too late. When I was at Juventus, we won five Scudettos, four Italian Cups and reached two Champions League finals: we were always ahead of everyone, yet the number of games was the same as everyone else. If you want to compete at a high level, you have to accept playing a lot and being in Champions. For me it is a privilege, not a burden. Honestly, I hope to find myself with these problems next season”.

The presenter, super supporter of Napoli, told that in the family there's a black sheep. Indeed, nerazzurra.
He did so in a recent interview granted to the 'Gazzetta dello Sport'. "A scandal" she smiled.
Tons of concepts expressed by the good (and beautiful) Campanian conductor.
"Napoli is experienced as a true faith by those born and raised in the city".
His first times at the stadium go back to'childhood, in the Maradona period.
"There'was also Naldi’s Napoli in Serie B and failure. And I was there'I was"
"Then the slow rise with De Laurentiis from Serie C. And there'I was also there".
In the last three years Napoli has won two championships.

"Winning two titles in three years is something huge".

"Conte’s reappointment was the best news of the'year".
"Soccer looks like life: there are ups, downs, falls and restarts".
"When you are on a high you have to rejoice without forgetting that nothing lasts forever".

Conte, compared to Allegri, had been of a different opinion: “We always come back to the same speech, of putting matches on matches on matches – he had said after the league match played on Saturday -. Players who have to rest continue to play, but playing so many matches only kills these guys. Either the rules are changed even with the nurseries or to make sixty or seventy games a year or the rosters need to be expanded. I also regret that the Italian Footballers Association turns the other way on this issue”.

Between fans and industry insiders, inevitably, the debate has caught fire again after Allegri’s words. On the one hand, there are those who continue to defend Antonio Conte, finding themselves in agreement with the Salento coach on the direct proportionality between matches played and the number of injuries over the course of a season at a high level.

They are the ones who continue to defend Antonio Conte.

On the other hand, however, there are those who agree with Massimiliano Allegri, taking as an example the seasons of top-level clubs in Europe that, despite having a number of players in the squad in line with the international average, do not suffer the same impact at the level of injuries, coming in at the bottom of all the competitions in which they take part.
