Ralf raced in Formula 1 from 1997 to 2007, taking part in as many as 182 Grand Prix and achieving 6 wins, 27 podiums, 6 pole positions and 8 fastest laps. After retirement, he continued to be present in the motorsport world as a TV commentator in Germany. In addition to his sporting successes, Ralf had an important love life: from 2001 to 2015 he was married to model Cora Brinkmann, with whom he had David Schumacher, now also a motor racing driver.

Ralf had always lived his relationship with Etienne privately until he decided to go public in 2024; in this regard, Ralf Schumacher’s ex-wife Cora Brinkmann had called her ex-husband’s coming out a stab in the heart, expressing disappointment at the news. In recent months, however, the two have made peace. In fact, Cora and her current partner Steven Bo Bekendam wanted to publicly wish the couple well on their upcoming wedding: “Steven and I wish Ralf and Etienne all the best and much happiness”.

For Ralf Schumacher, this is an important relationship, as evidenced by photos on social media accompanied by the words, “The best thing in life is when you have the right partner by your side with whom you can share everything.” Today his personal life is much changed from the past, driven by conscious choices and a desire to separate sports and private life. The younger brother of Michael Schumacher is living a more peaceful time, divided between his work as a motorsport pundit and his private life.
