Inter-Juventus, Lautaro Martinez in top form but there's a problem

On Saturday night (8:45 p.m.), at the San Siro (sold out and turf resurfaced after the Olympics opening ceremony), Inter hosts Juventus. The Nerazzurri are +12 on the Bianconeri and aim to continue their sprint toward the Scudetto. Clearly, spotlight on Lautaro Martinez who will partner, in attack, with Thuram. The Thu-La wants to knock out the Old Lady and prove that Inter can be dominant even against the bigs.

The presenter, super supporter of Napoli, told that in the family there's a black sheep. Indeed, nerazzurra.
He did so in a recent interview granted to the 'Gazzetta dello Sport'. "A scandal" she smiled.
Tons of concepts expressed by the good (and beautiful) Campanian conductor.
"Napoli is experienced as a true faith by those born and raised in the city".
His first times at the stadium go back to'childhood, in the Maradona period.
"There'was also Naldi’s Napoli in Serie B and failure. And I was there'I was"
"Then the slow rise with De Laurentiis from Serie C. And there'I was also there".
In the last three years Napoli has won two championships.

"Winning two titles in three years is something huge".

"Conte’s reappointment was the best news of the'year".
"Soccer looks like life: there are ups, downs, falls and restarts".
"When you are on a high you must rejoice without forgetting that nothing lasts forever".

Lautaro Martinez comes to the challenge with the Bianconeri in top form. Toro is the Serie A’s top scorer with an impressive 14 goals to his name, +6 compared to the large group of pursuers in which Yildiz, Juventus’ star is also present. In addition, he has just grabbed third place in the all-time Nerazzurri scorers’ list (171 goals) although Boninsegna, on his side, said he was convinced that, in his counts, three goals would be missing. Controversy aside, the Argentine is doing great.

However, there&#8217s one problem. Lautaro Martinez struggles to score when, in front of him, he has Juventus. In 21 previous matches, he has found the way to goal on only four occasions. His last goal against the Bianconeri was almost two and a half years ago: 26/11/2023, his was the goal that was then worth the 1-1 final. In Serie A, only twice (out of 15 matches) has he chastened the Old Lady. In short, the record is certainly not encouraging but Lautaro Martinez is one who always knows how to redeem himself.

There is one important statistic: Lautaro Martinez has scored 14 goals. The three Bianconeri strikers, Openda, David and Vlahovic (the latter still in the box due to injury), come in at nine. The Argentine has scored far more goals than all of Spalletti’s strikers combined.

The Nerazzurri captain dreams of another star-studded night. To win against Juventus and maybe even find the way of the goal to continue the excellent moment of form he is going through. The whole San Siro will be at his side for a Derby d’Italia that promises sparks.
