The Spurs rookie played for the title in the final in the worst possible way. Carter Bryant made the only perfect 50-point dunk of the night, launching an alley-oop off the court and ending the slam with the ball between his legs. But he failed to make his final dunk, which involved an alley-oop on the backboard. The’mistake on the second attempt gave “the win to Keshad Johnson, who was definitely more continuous in his show.

“The dunk is an’art”. “All of us, we have done and seen crazy dunks. It&#8217s kind of hard to invent new things after so many years but nobody really dunks the same way. Everyone has their own art and applies it to something that someone else has probably done before. So, I just jump into the fray and put my own personal touch on it” the words of Kashed Johnson, reported by ESPN. The’last Heat player to win the dunk contest was Derrick Jones Jr. in 2020.

Smiles also for Damian Lillard. Despite being injured, the Portland all-star competed in the three-point shooting contest and even won it. For Damian Lillard, this is the third win in the last four years (same number of wins as a certain Larry Bird).

“I came in confident, I am fresh. I don&#8217t have to go out on the court and play 40 or 35 minutes. I think, having had this year off, my mind and body are just more peaceful. So, I came out on the field excited to do it”, his words captured by ESPN.
