Roma has made up its mind: after Gianluca Mancini, who is getting closer and closer to the renewal, also Bryan Cristante is ready to extend a bond that goes beyond the contract.

With Gian Piero Gasperini on the bench, Cristante has changed his skin: from a silent balancer of the midfield to the technical and emotional guide of the group.

This season he inherited the captain’s armband, becoming a constant reference on and off the field. The new agreement will tie him to the club until 2029, with an option for one more season: a strong, unequivocal signal. He will be one of the pillars of the Roma to come.

The club considers him part of the skeleton of the team of the future, a man to build on for quality, reliability and leadership. His current contract expires in 2027, but the intention is clear: get ahead of the curve and secure a central figure.
