Rafael Leao has always been a divisive player. There are those who adore him madly and those who just can&#8217t stand him. His sometimes easygoing manner is not always accepted, especially when the results on the field do not go as they should. This year, partly because of several injuries, the Portuguese star player is making less of an impact. He has hardly ever been at the top of his physical form and, often employed as a first forward, he has convinced in spurts.

Allegri-Fabregas, ends in insults in the press room at San Siro
Poisonous tail for Milan-Como match, ended 1-1
It all started in the final minutes of the match, when Fabregas restrained Saelemaekers on the sidelines
A paraphernalia ensues that leads to the'ejection of Allegri and an aide of the Spanish coach

After the match the Tuscan coach confronted Fabregas at the'entrance of the San Siro press room
The two exchanged big words, and according to colleagues present also came insults

Allegri allegedly mocked Fabregas: "You’re a child who started coaching"

Fabregas later apologized for his gesture: "I did something I am not proud of, I made an unsportsmanlike gesture"

Allegri vented like this: "When you are on the field you have to be respectful towards the referee and towards the teams"

The two goals of the match were scored by Leao and Paz

“I am not going to change. The smile always on my face I had even as a child, it is my thing: if I did not smile I would not be Rafael Leao. Those who criticize me do so because they know my qualities and are very demanding, but I certainly cannot change the way I am, I have been this way for 26 years” explained Leao, who is living his seventh season at AC Milan and this year, in the league, he has already reached the number of goals scored last year, eight, with a smaller number of assists, however (two compared to eight last year).

The Portuguese player is not going to change.

The Portuguese has no intention of changing but the Rossoneri club could do so. Rafael Leao’s contract with Milan expires in June 2028. Should the intention be to sell him, it is clear that the next summer market window would be the right opportunity. Several top clubs, especially English ones, have approached the Rossoneri ace over the past few years. Could this be the right time? At the moment it is difficult to confirm or deny.

What is certain is that, faced with a monster offer, the Diavolo might even give it a thought. With the money from the possible sale of Rafael Leao, the Rossoneri could practically remake the attack. However, losing the talented Portuguese would not be so easy to digest.

In the meantime, Rafael Leao is only thinking about doing well on the pitch and helping Milan regain a place in the next Champions League. Finishing in the top four in the league could also guarantee him a stay at AC Milan, regardless of any talk or proposals from abroad.
