Federica Brignone doesn’t show up at the gate but no fear

Federica Brignone, just back from the triumphant Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, took a mini-break in Andorra: she did not show up at the gate on Thursday for the second day of practice ahead of Friday’s downhill, so as not to overload her left leg too much and thus give her best in Soldeu at the most important moment, that of the race.

Very high time for Sara Thaler, who was stopped on the track for more than two minutes following the fall of Austrian Schöpf who was ahead of her.
