Torino, Ivan Juric loses an outfielder: possible return in 2023
Ivan Juric Loses Ola Aina
Bad news in Torino: the Granata team and Ivan Juric will have to do without Ola Aina, who injured his left thigh during a training session at the Filadelfia Stadium on Wednesday, Oct. 26, in the upcoming matches.
The British outfielder, a naturalized Nigerian, is coming off an excellent start to the season, in which he blew Wilfried Singo’s starting spot on the right flank.
On Wednesday evening, the Granata club issued a statement that read, “Initial investigations have shown a distractive involvement that will be further investigated with further examinations in the coming days.”
Surely the former Fulham and Chelsea player among others will not be available to the Croatian coach in the match against AC Milan and most likely also for the match against Bologna, scheduled at the Dall’Ara stadium on November 6.
Torino’s home side is hoping to be able to recover the outfielder for the Nov. 9 match against Sampdoria, on the penultimate day before the World Cup break in Qatar.
