Spalletti: "Changed way of living the club"

Luciano Spalletti is proud of his Roma side after their eighth consecutive win: “The boys played a splendid game, especially because it came after the elimination from the Champions League that could have given us a psychological blow. Psychology is a fundamental aspect in today’s soccer: we are definitely chosen ones and we have to realize what our job is. We have to analyze all situations in depth, we have to put our heads inside what we do, understand that we do something that is better than many others. Today I am at peace with my players, I will not criticize them.”
Third place has been strengthened: “We need to keep the teams behind at a distance and this we can only do by continuing to win. Did this game show that Dzeko was not a problem? Absolutely not. The boys are all added values. If you make a streak like this it means the team is working well, everyone is rowing on the same side. Did I expect Roma to look this good? I was curious to understand it from the inside, because the team seen from the outside seemed to have a lot of quality and in fact the results of the last few years with Garcia have been excellent. It was necessary perhaps to change a little bit the way of living this club: the boys did it with responsibility and they deserve these satisfactions,” he explains to Mediaset Premium.
