Lewis Hamilton remains silent, Stefano Domenicali teases him

Stefano Domenicali also expresses a wish regarding Lewis Hamilton.
The seven-time world champion, who for the first time has not been confirmed as such in 2021 since as far back as 2016, turned 37 on January 7, once again without launching any social message. Thus, in the same hours, it was the president and CEO of Formula 1 who more or less indirectly sent him an important message.
“My hope is that the duel between Hamilton and Verstappen can continue in 2022 as well,” Domenicali explained without mincing words, in an interview for the German broadcaster ‘Sport1’. We currently have a very competitive grid, full of many talented drivers, including young ones.”
So if the wish is to overcome any doubts about Hamilton’s stay in Formula 1, Domenicali then also teased the Anglo-Caribbean star’s desire for revenge: “Verstappen deserved the title, and now he will be back on track in a new situation for him. He has realized his dream, and I can’t wait to find out how he will come back in 2022. I am curious.”
